How we review

Every platform gets evaluated on the same five dimensions, scored 0–10:

• Overall — the weighted summary: would we recommend it to the audience it claims to serve?
• Ease of use — signup friction, interface quality, how fast you get to actual conversations.
• Member quality — active-user density, profile authenticity, bot and fake-profile levels.
• Value — what the paid tiers cost against what they deliver, including renewal-pricing honesty.
• Privacy — discretion features, breach history, billing descriptors, data practices.

Facts in our reviews — pricing, features, policies — come from the platforms' own published materials and our direct evaluation, and we state prices as approximate because this industry changes them constantly. Judgments — whether something is worth your money — are our editorial opinions, and we frame them as such.

How we make money

Affiliate commissions. When you sign up for a platform through our links, that platform's network may pay us a referral fee. It costs you nothing. Two commitments follow from that model, and we hold both:

• Commissions never move a score. Platforms cannot pay for a better rating, a higher list position, or a softer cons section. Several platforms we link to pay us nothing at all.
• Every commercial page says so. You'll find a disclosure on every page with affiliate links, plus the full picture at our affiliate disclosure.

What we don't do

• No fake urgency, fake member counts, or "3 singles near you" widgets. Ever.
• No explicit imagery. This site stays worksafe by design.
• No pay-to-play placements disguised as editorial rankings.
• No reviews of platforms we consider outright scams — they simply don't get listed.
